The Bioquell BQ-EMS is a mobile bio-decontamination system . The Bioquell technology, when utilized with Bioquell Hydrogen Peroxide Sterilant, kills microorganisms on exposed surfaces within emergency response vehicles, achieving a 6-log sporicidal kill. Its setup allows for rapid transport and maneuverability.
Whether at the end of a shift or during routine maintenance, hydrogen peroxide vapor technology from Ecolab vaporizes Bioquell Hydrogen Peroxide Sterilant (EPA Registration Number 72372-1-86703) to kill microorganisms on exposed surfaces. All that is required to remove during a bio-decontamination cycle are absorbent materials such as linens, and items sensitive to hydrogen peroxide such as glucometers. Otherwise, all drawers and cabinets should remain open to expose as much surface area as possible. After a single cycle, the vehicle is immediately ready for use as there are no additional steps in order to reclaim the space.
