Masterflex® Single-Use Stainless Steel Turbine Flow Sensors, Avantor®
Fluid Sensors
Build a complete flow sensor system customizable to your application.

  • Use in conjunction with batch or flow controller for precise pump control
  • Accurate 1% of reading measurement at low flow
  • Flow sensors are produced and tested under cleanroom conditions

The Masterflex® stainless steel (SS) turbine flow sensors are corrosion resistant for long-term, trouble-free performance in demanding situations. These are rated for high-pressure requirements in chemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and environmental industries.

The sensor is positioned in close proximity to the edges of the rotor blades. In conjunction with the ultra-lightweight turbine rotor, minor fluctuations in flow can accurately be measured for a high-resolution flow measurement for liquids. Flow of the liquid is picked up via the IR beam in the sensor connection and converted into a 5 to 24 V square wave pulse output. Mount these turbine flow sensors in any position; they do not require a flow straightener or other specialized installation. All flow sensors come precalibrated to either one or five points. All single-point calibrated flow sensors come with a calibration certificate with a K-factor at 50% of the flowrate and serial number. All 5-point calibrated flow sensors come with a calibration certificate with a K-factor at 5 points of flowrate and serial number.

Four output options are available — digital to analog converter, metering pump control system, panel mount flow display with totalizer, and benchtop flow display with totalizer. Order barcode scanner and output option separately.
