The flexible Implen NanoPhotometer® N120 UV/VIS spectrophotometer offers NanoVolume measurements of up to 12 samples per run in just 20 s, made in Germany. The N120 is especially made for pharma/biotech and academic researchers analysing a greater number of nucleic acid and protein samples. It provides full scan data from 200 - 900 nm for various life science applications like quantification and qualification of nucleic acids, proteins or cell cultures. The stand-alone design with an integrated touchscreen and small footprint make it ideal for bench operation in pharma, biotech or academic laboratories.

Quantify and qualify DNA, RNA, protein, small molecules, nano particles and other samples using only 2 – 3.5 µl and have full-spectral data in only 1.7 s. Convenient and easy 'pipet, measure, wipe and repeat' workflow. Auto-Sample function starts automatically once sample arm is closed for streamlined handling. Broad concentration range makes sample dilution obsolete. User-friendly and secure Linux-based software with intuitive interface ensure that even unexperienced users can work with the instrument without extensive training. Stand-alone design eliminates the need for a separate computer saving bench space and and bypasses possible problems with future windows updates, however, external computers can be connected if desired.

The illumination of the sample window helps to position your drop correctly and to identify interfering air bubbles. An integrated positioning guide assists the user to quickly and comfortably load their samples onto the spots. Data export as secureid's file or full excel/PDF including graph and absorbance data for further data analysis, printing and archiving. Recalibration-free design due to True Path Technology™ saves money for costly maintenance and ensures peace of mind over the entire life time. The NanoPhotometer® tests itself during every start of the instrument, providing feedback to the user that everything works fine. No reconditioning of the pedestal required guarantees accurate and stable performance.

Integrated Sample Control™ and Blank Control™ for analysis of sample quality and identification of contaminants via ratios and spectral analysis make sure you work with good samples only, improving success of downstream experiments like (q)PCR, cloning, micro-array, drug production and protein purification. Impure samples are flagged for immediate identification and possible contaminants are listed. Robust design of metal and glass parts mean you can disinfect the entire device using 70% ethanol, even for removing sticky samples off the measurement head. Self-closing pedestal prevents damage of the optics/quartz window. Disturbing surface tension and evaporation effects are eliminated due to patented Sample Compression Technology™ provides reproducible and accurate results even for highly concentrated protein samples or when organic solvents are used. Built-in file server and LIMS/eLN integration through REST API offering future-proof data export via USB and Ethernet cable or WiFi. Barcode reader and dymolabel printer ready.

Certifications: ISO 9001:2015, CE, IEC 61010-1:2012 and EN 61326-1:2013, IEC 62133 and UN38 .3 transport test.
