BTX Flat Electrode, for Electroporation or Electrofusion, Harvard Apparatus
Electrodes Electroporation Electrodes
Versatile Flat Electrode may be used for both electroporation and electrofusion applications.

  • Reuseable
  • High grade stainless steel electrode
  • Generates both homogeneous and divergent fields

The Flat Electrode can be oriented with the grooved sides of the electrode facing one another to generate a divergent field for use in electro cell fusion. Alternatively, it can be oriented with the flat sides facing each other providing a homogeneous field for electroporation.

The electrode is made of two rectangular, parallel plates that are press-fitted into a polysulfone base. The electrode chamber accepts up to 0.5 ml of sample. The Flat Electrode is connected to BTX generators using 4 mm banana cables.

Generator compatibility: Gemini X2, ECM 630, ECM 830, Legacy ECM 2001, ECM 2001+.
