VWR® Ultrasonic Homogenizers are available in 50 watt or 200 watt formats
The touch screen interface supports multiple run modes, including pulse and constant operation with full amplitude control. Easily create programs that process samples based on total energy or a defined on and off time. These devices can be used for many applications, including emulsion creation, nucleic acid shearing, ChIP-Seq, nanoparticle production, protein extraction, mixing, homogenizing, or cell lysis.
The optional sound abatement chamber reduces the noise associated with sonicating. The large interior chamber easily accommodates water baths for applications requiring cooling or hot plots. The back panel of the sound abatement chamber includes six ports to allow cooling or electrical lines to be passed through the enclosure. Sealed interior walls ensure easy cleaning.
