Avanti™ J-15 Series Benchtop Centrifuges, Beckman Coulter®
Centrifuges Benchtop Centrifuges
The Avanti™ J-15 series of benchtop centrifuges (refrigerated or ventilated) leverage the ultra harmonic technology, designed to protect your sample and increase workflow time efficiencies.

  • Ultra harmonic technology
  • Workflow optimization
  • Sample protection
  • Time efficiency
  • Multi-dimension imbalance tolerance

The Avanti™ J-15 series of benchtop centrifuges is part of a new family of life science equipment that provides the exceptional performance.

Refrigerated (Avanti™ J-15R) or ventilated (Avanti™ J-15), these centrifuges use ultra harmonic technology. Ultra harmonic technology leverages intelligent acceleration and deceleration profiles, reduces sample disturbances and provides time savings.

The Avanti™ J-15 series is an all around solution for your scientific needs: cell culture, transfection/transduction, nucleic acid purification, blood processing, assay set-up and more. Routine cell culture procedures are made easy and safe with the use of aerosolve canister. These optional BioCertified aerosolve canisters are made of clear shell to allow sample visibility even before the canister is opened.

Speed efficiency and minimum sample disturbances with ultra harmonic technology (intelligent acceleration and deceleration profiles).

Sample protection and higher yield: soft pellet deceleration profile protects the sample and results in increased sample yield. Optimize bench space (with our truly ventilated unit while processing any protocol in cell culture, blood separation or microbiology). Ease of use and faster accessibility: icon usability and intuitive display on high contrast color LCD screen.
Efficiency: Easy one-touch access to six programs and store up to 99 programs. JS-4.750 swinging bucket rotor. (Spin from 1.5 ml reaction vials to 750 ml bottles, single to quad-pack blood bags and multi-well plates, with the proper adapters or microplate carriers.)
JA-10.100 (6×100 ml) BioCertified fixed angle rotor. (Spin up to six 100 ml tubes at a 25° angle to the axis of rotation. The dual- locking lid allows the rotor to be removed from the centrifuge with the lid on.)
Applications for the JA-10.100 rotor include: density gradient separations of erythrocytes, cell lysate fractions, granules, as well as differential separation of DNA, proteins, and viruses. Up to 600 ml of sample volume can be centrifuged per run. Optional adapters allow spinning 1.5 µl microcentrifuge tubes, 10 ml round, 15 ml round and conical and 50 ml round and conical tubes.
BioCertified: is a term used to describe our products which have been tested and validated to demonstrate containment of microbiological aerosols by an independent, third-party facility. Improper use or maintenance may affect seal integrity and , this, containment. BioSafe and BioSafety are terms intended to describe the enhanced biocontainment features of our products.
Up to three plates can be run per carrier at maximum multi-well plate speeds. If running four plates, reduce run speed to 2700 rpm. Observe manufacturers run speed and stacking limitations if using other manufacturers multi-well plates.
Up to three plates, separated by cap strips, can be run per carrier at maximum multi-well plate speeds. If running four plates, cap strips cannot be used due to height limitations; reduce run speed to 2700 rpm. Observe manufacturers run speed and stacking limitations if using other manufacturers multi-well plates.

Certifications: Meets ASTM standards. EN-342.

Ordering information: The centrifuge is supplied with a one-year parts and labor warranty. Rotors, adapters and accessories are sold separately.
