The Pierce™ Melon™ Gel IgG Spin Purification Kit is a simpler and faster alternative to traditional Protein A and Protein G methods for purification of human, mouse and rabbit IgG from serum and other sources.

The IgG is isolated in the one-step protocol up to six times faster than Protein A or G purification methods. The protocol does not require any desalting or extreme pH conditions, enabling antibodies to retain their biological properties. Melon™ gel consistently offers better than a 90% recovery rate with better than 80% for all antibodies, including some subclasses that are generally unattainable using Protein A or G purification methods.
