Plastic-coated separatory funnel provides safety from common accidents such as: a broken glass drip leaving a jagged edge, weakening the vessel integrity by scratching the surface of the glass, and spills from the stopper being removed under the pressure caused by agitation of the contents.

Safety separatory funnel is plastic-coated to lessen the risk of common accidents involving separatory funnels. Funnel glass only has a rodaviss top, and Ace-Thred bottom, and is supplied with a PTFE stopcock plug. Complete funnel has a rodaviss capped PTFE stopper, a PTFE drip tip, and is supplied with a PTFE stopcock plug.
