Distinctive operational features include the exclusive Accu-Drive™ shaking system, which delivers exceptional speed control, accuracy, and durability.
Shakers are equipped with touchpad controls with easy-to-read, independent LED displays for speed and time allow operator to view both settings simultaneously. Provides repeatable and accurate results every time and is easily visible across lab benches. Timer will display elapsed time or, when programmed to user defined limit, will shut off unit when time reaches zero. Display will show last used settings, even after power has been turned off. RS-232 interface provides two-way communication for data logging and unit control. Speed calibration mode allows user to automatically recalibrate speed display. Audible and visual signals will activate when system detects an obstruction.
Shakers can accommodate a variety of stainless steel platform options. Tier braces are constructed of stainless steel, allow stacking of same sized platforms, and provide a 25.4 cm (10") clearance between platforms. Adjustable platforms are equipped with 4 adjustable cushioned rollers to hold most glassware securely. Universal platforms are suitable for mounting flask clamps and test tube racks. The culture platforms with mat are ideal for slow speed applications that utilize low profile vessels such as Petri dishes or culture flasks. The separatory funnel platform holds up to three 500 ml to 2 L samples at once. Dedicated platforms feature pre-mounted PVC flask clamps for maximum utilization of space. Flask clamps are available in either stainless steel or PVC styles. Media bottle clamps and microplate clamps are constructed of stainless steel. Pivoting test tube racks feature stainless steel construction. Standard test tube racks feature a PVC-coated steel construction. Both rack styles come with hardware for easy attachment to platforms.
The system continuously monitors shaking speed and maintains set-point, even under changing loads. The displayed speed is accurate to +/– 1 rpm below 100 rpm, and +/–1% of set speeds above 100 rpm. The variable speed microprocessor control provides consistent uniform shaking action. The shaker’s powerful triple eccentric drive and maintenance free, brushless DC motor, provide reliable service and continuous duty operation and can handle loads up to 15.9 kg (35 lbs).
Certifications: RoHS certified. TUV listed, CE marked. Calibrated Shakers include a Troemner ISO/IEC Accredited Calibration Certificate traceable to NIST. The ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Calibration Certificate includes multiple data points within the temperature and speed range and time function with the associated uncertainties. Troemner is accredited by NVLAP under Laboratory Code 105013-0 to perform ISO/IEC 17025 calibrations.
Ordering information: Five-year limited warranty on parts and labor. Shakers are supplied with a non skid rubber mat that fits the 33×28 cm (13×11") tray. Tray is suitable for holding Petri dishes and cell culture flasks. Unit also includes a 2.3 m (92") detachable 3-wire cord and plug.
