Each miVac rotor is made to exacting specifications to assure long life, secure holding of samples and maximum heat transfer and reliability

Lightweight solid aluminum material has a very high thermal conductivity, allowing for excellent heat transfer. Precise specifications assure tubes fit tightly eliminating gaps to minimize glass breakage and further improve heat transfer. Rotors feature convenient handles for easy installation and removal from concentrator.

A wide selection of sample holders are available for microcentrifuge tubes through 50ml conical tubes, as well as vials.

One of the most important factors in determining the speed of concentration is the rate at which heat (energy) is transferred to the sample. The better the heat transfer, the faster the concentration.
