QBI’s Water, Cell Culture, WFI Quality is high quality water for use as a solvent in the preparation of cell culture media and biochemical reagents.

This water is extensively purified by reverse osmosis, subsequently deionized and passed through a filter membrane to remove particles and tested to meet the specifications found in the USP (United States Pharmacopeia) monograph for Water for Injection (WFI) for conductivity, endotoxin,and TOC. It is additionally tested for sterility, mycoplasma, and cell culture performance.

This water is tested against USP specifications, but is not intended for injection. It is only intended for research or further manufacturing use, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.

Quality Biological’s Water, Cell Culture, WFI Quality has very low endotoxin (less than 0.03 EU/mL). The water quality is monitored on a routine basis.

QBI’s Water, Cell Culture, WFI Quality can be useful for making cell culture media, diluting buffers, suspending cells, preparing wash solutions, and for cleaning of laboratory glassware, containers, and equipment.
