Transfer Membranes

Nitrocellulose membranes are sheets and rolls of nitrocellulose, available in two pore sizes, that have excellent binding properties for Western blotting, dot-blot assays and other protein or nucleic acid methods.

Nitrocellulose is a popular binding matrix for Western blotting because of its high affinity for proteins and compatibility with a variety of detection methods.

These transfer membranes have a high surface area and excellent uniformity. They are available in two sizes and suitable for either peptide or protein applications.

Nitrocellulose membranes provide excellent protein binding, block easily, and produce very low background in chemiluminescent Western blotting.
