Earmuffs Earmuffs with Soundmanagement
Peltor™ TacticalPro™ electronic headset has been designed with a unique frequency response that amplifies low-level sounds while suppressing dangerous impulse noises.

  • Tactical electronic earmuff softens loud noises while amplifying weak sounds
  • Provides clear, ambient sound and voice recognition in noisy environments
  • Omni-directional cup microphones offer 360° external ambient listening capability
  • Deep earcup design and soft ear cushions allow for all-day comfort

The Peltor™ TacticalPro™ Electronic Headset provides hearing protection with a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 26 decibels

The ability to amplify soft sounds makes this hearing protector a preferred choice for individuals with some hearing loss. The headset comes with an audio jack for radio input monitoring. An automatic shutdown function saves power when the headset is not in use, further conserving battery power. Made with a combination of foam, plastic, and metal, the headset is lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear. This hearing protection device incorporates new ASIC technology. The headset runs on 2 AA batteries, or an optional rechargeable battery pack.

Exposure to loud noises can adversely affect the ability to hear over time. Wearing proper hearing protection devices can help reduce the harmful effects of noise. Typical decibel levels associated with common sounds include; outdoors with no people or traffic: 20dB; normal conversation: 60dB; power lawn mower: 90dB; chain saw: 110dB; 12-gauge shotgun: 165dB. The NRR can be used to evaluate different hearing protection options. However, the actual level of protection varies depending on fit, wearing time, and other factors.

The headset amplifies low-level sounds while suppressing dangerous impulse noises. Attenuation and amplification features combine to protect wearers from loud hazardous noise, while helping to make soft sounds louder for improved listening clarity. Impulse noise attenuation immediately softens sudden loud noises, such as the blast of a gun or rifle, making this earmuff a favorite among hunters and gun range shooters.
