Graticules, Reticles and Grids
Alphabetical and numerical systems for recording specimen locations on the grid.

  • Copper, copper-paladium, nickel, molybdenum, and gold grids
  • 200, 300 and 400 mesh grids
  • Thick and thin bar grid patterns

Used to identify specific areas of mesh by an alphabetical or numerical code built into the mesh. 3.05 mm diameter, 0.7 mil (18 µm) thickness. G200F1 series has thick bars dividing regions into six thin bar areas, which are identified by a numeric system.
G200F2 series has thick bars dividing regions into nine thin bar areas, which are identified by alphabetical letters located in the center of the grid. G200HF3 series has 322 grids squares and each can be identified by reference to its unique combination of base two binary number and alphabet symbol (A-T). Zero is a short rounded solid pillar and 1 is a longer rounded solid pillar.

Bar size: 35 – 12 µm
