Microscale, heavy-wall reaction vial.

The top joint is a combination cap, thread and joint to accommodate and seal other microscale apparatus. The Ext.Ø. of the top joint has an external thread to facilitate an O-ring and open-top phenolic cap. The internal or Int.Ø. at the top is a ground outer joint. This type connection eliminates the need for clamps while offering the positive leaktight seal of ground glass joints.

Replace O-ring in cap with PTFE-faced silicone rubber septa and vial can be capped for storage.

Delivery information: Each vial supplied with threaded cap with hole, one PTFE faced silicone rubber septum and one O-ring for making 'O-Ring-CAP-SEAL.'
