Decontamination is still easier than ever
Since it is not necessary to remove the IR CO₂ sensor prior to activating the decontamination process, potential damage to the IR sensor is eliminated. This is decontamination at its easiest and most effective. To make things more convenient, a stacking rack can be used to reduce the footprint requirement of multiple incubators, and you can even run a decontamination cycle in one stacked unit while culturing your cells in the other unit.
Other features include a USB interface for software communication and a pre-heated copper CO₂ gas inlet and copper CO₂ delivery circuit. This exclusive feature prevents condensation and reduces potential sites for contamination to form. The sensor is extremely quick to recover CO₂ levels after door openings, and it ensures superior pH stability. Incubator also features an inner glass viewing door. A unique air jacket design provides precise temperature control and uniformity. An independent over-temperature safety controller is also integral to the design.

The Model SCO6AD allows users to easily eliminate contaminant organisms at 180 °C for 120 minutes without having to remove or handle any sensors or filters, unlike other incubators that reach only 90-140 °C or require the removal of filters and sensors prior to a decon cycle.
