Mammalian GenLysate™ Mouse Total Protein Lysates, G-Biosciences
Cells

G-Biosciences' GenLysates™ are total protein tissue and cell lysates that are extracted from the tissue or cell of interest. To inhibit proteolysis, the GenLysates™ are prepared in a lysis buffer containing a complete protease inhibitor cocktail. Each lysate lot is tested by electrophoresis and Western blot analysis.

G-Biosciences' GenLysate™ total protein lysates are ready to use for SDS-PAGE and Western blotting purposes

G-Biosciences' GenLysate™ total protein lysates are offered as a 150 µg lyophilized protein per vial and, following reconstitution in DI water, are ready for use. G-Biosciences offers GenLysate™ in a wide variety of different species and tissues. Species include: human (both normal tissue and tumor tissue lysates available), mouse, rat, macaque (primate), rabbit, pig, plant-related, bacteria, insect, bird, frog, fish, marsupial, earthworm, and yeast.

The total proteins are being extracted from whole tissue or cells following the method of Laemmli. The proteins are extracted in a denaturing buffer containing 62 mM Tris·HCl and 2% SDS with G-Biosciences' ProteaseARREST™ protease inhibitor cocktail. This minimizes proteolytic damage to the proteins.
